Bret Michaels Tish Cyrus Affair? Did Miley Cyrus’ Mom Cheat With Poison Rocker?
Spokesfolks for The Cyruses deny it, but Us Weekly is shouting a salacious scoop about the Achy Breaky Breakup (Excuse the Irresistible Pun) between Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife of 17 years Tish — better known these days simply as Miley Cyrus’ parents.
Us snoops claim that filed Billy Ray filed for divorce in the family’s homestate of Tennessee Oct. 27 after finding out wife that Tish had an affair with ’80s glam rocker Bret Michaels.
“It was a professional relationship that turned into something more,” says a source claimed to the mag, adding that Bret “became close to the entire family” while working with Miley on the duet “Nothing to Lose” earlier this year.
Sparks began to fly when Tish attended a Bret Michaels concert last February, sources say, after which the pair had a few “meetings” together – supposedly to talk about Tish’s production company adapting a book by Bret into a movie. The story is that Billy Ray’s achy breaky heart split in two when he discovered what his wife was doing with his pal behind his back. He immediately filed for divorce.
“Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on,” adds The Cyrus spy.
The Cyruses have three children together, Miley, 17, Braison, 15, and Noah, 10, as well as Tish’s children from a previous marriage, Brandi and Trace. Billy Ray has asked the court for shared custody of the couple’s three minor children and an “equitable distribution of the marital estate.”
According to a rep for Bret, Us‘ source needs to get its ears checked. Surely a man who dodged Death’s Door at least three times in the past year wouldn’t be callous enough to bust-up Miley’s family. Would he?
“This is untrue. My client is not that type of person,” Bret’s rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood Tuesday evening. “He has worked with Miley and Tish on a professional level.”
