Tina Fey Book Bidding War $6 Million

Hot off an Emmy win and a pair of successful SNL satires as Governor Sarah Palin, comedienne Tina Fey has become a popular commodity for several major publishing houses. In fact, editors are so anxious for a piece of Fey’s starpower, a $6 million bidding war has erupted to get the 30 Rock star signed to a multi-million dollar book deal.
The New York Post writes: One publisher out of the gate offered to pay a $5 million advance. Others jumped in, which, according to our sources, triggered a bidding war and sent the price tag to toward the $6 million range.
