Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad Protested

A Super Bowl ad featuring Heisman Trophy-winning football star Tim Teborw has been protested by women’s rights groups who object to the commercial’s pro-life stance on abortion.
Tebrow is set to star in the thirty second spot — financed by Christian group Focus on the Family — with his mother, who fell ill after a trip to the Philippines during her pregnancy with the pro athlete. She was told to have an abortion, but refused. Months later, in mid-1987, Tim was born.
Groups like the National Organization for Women and the Women’s Media Center in New York feel The Tebows’ Super Bowl ad and its pro-life stance have no business airing during football’s biggest night.
“An ad that uses sports to divide rather than to unite has no place in the biggest national sports event of the year – an event designed to bring Americans together,” Jehmu Greene, president of the Women’s Media Center, said in a statement Monday.
Tebrow has led the University of Florida to two BCS titles.

I find it interesting that certain groups are strongely for Women's Rights unless you don't March in Lock Step with their views. I have watched and observed their opinons for years.
I see no problem with what I have heard about the positive commercial concerning the sports gentleman. I have seen so much nudity and obsenity in commercials reflecting women and men. When they do it it is free speech. When other groups do it they want to censor the opinion. If they don't like the opinion, hit mute. I do it a lot.

CBS will also be airing an advertisement that will represent a gay/homosexual match making service, (Like eharmony), during Feburary 7th Superbowl – -http://www.postchronicle.com/news/original/article_212281538.shtml How do you think we should respond?? There will come a point sometime during the game where the little kids watching the game with Mom and Dad will be seeing two men making out on a couch. Hmm–which message should the kids really not watch??? 'love betwenn two men'? Or the love of a mom who allowed for her child to be born?? I wonder?
