Tiger Woods Booed During Stanford-UC Berkeley Faceoff
Stanford alum Tiger Woods got an earful of hearty heckling from the Berkeley boobirds during a college football game over the weekend. The Masters champ — who played for Stanford’s golf team before going pro as an undergrad — was made honorary captain for the Cardinals during Saturday’s matchup against bitter rival University of California at Berkeley. He delivered a quick halftime speech to mark his induction into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame — but became a bit rattled when his Thank You’s were met with jeers instead of cheers.
