Tiger Woods Admits “Transgressions” In Apology To Family

Tiger’s sorry….As rumors of infidelities surround him, golf great Tiger Woods made a new statement on his website Wednesday expressing his “regret” over some undisclosed “transgressions.” The world’s top-ranked golfer went on to ask the media to give his family some privacy.
Fat chance, my dear……
In the message, the professional golfer apologized to his loved ones, saying:
“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves,” Woods said in the statement. “I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”
Tiger also addressed rumors that his alleged cheating prompted his wife to attack in an early morning fight last Friday:
“The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect,” Tiger writes. “But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy…..”
TMZ claimed happened after he was fighting with wife Elin Nordegren over a tabloid report the golfer had engaged in an extramarital affair with Rachel Uchitel. The Manhattan party hostess has denied any romantic or sexual involvement with the golfer, but Jaimee Grubbs, a former star of VH1’s Tool Academy, claimed in an Us Weekly cover story this week that she has had a sexual relationship with the star since 2007.
Tiger has two young children with his wife Elin.
