A reality star is stepping forward to support one tabloid reporter’s claim of dating Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin.

Real Housewives Of New York City castmate Jill Zarin tells PEOPLE.com that married father of eight Jon Gosselin is “definitely dating” Star Magazine snitch Kate Major. Jill says she and husband Bobby Zarin had dinner with Jon, the other Kate, Michael Lohan — who they are reportedly staying with –and Southampton Mayor Mark Epley, and his wife, Marianne, in New York City’s Hamptons Wednesday.

“He didn’t seem smitten. They weren’t all over each other,” she says. “But they’re definitely dating. It came up in conversation. She had her hands on him.”
