“The Real Housewives Of New York City” Salary Dispute Prompts Casting Call For New Stars
The Real Housewives of New York City has been picked up for a third-season, but a few current castmembers could find themselves replaced with unfamiliar faces when the hit Bravos series goes into production this fall.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Bravo Network is currently casting for additional housewives following a salary dispute between the Manhattan socialites. Word is Housewives Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer are holding out on inking new contracts in hopes of attracting a lucrative deal.
The Real Housewives of New York City — which features Alex McCord, Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, LuAnn de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer — follows the busy lives of a group of ambitious Manhattan women juggling careers, motherhood, and an active social calendar in the City That Never Sleeps.
