Word is this the movie where the 16-year-old actress met and enjoyed a fling with on-screen love interest Liam Hemsworth.

In the coming-of-age movie, based on the popular book by Nicholas Sparks, Miley plays Ronnie, a gifted but troubled teen girl who reconnects with her estranged dad (Greg Kinnear) and falls in love during a summer vacation on Tybee Island, Georgia.

The Last Song hits theaters April 2, 2010.
