The June issue of Seventeen Magazine features a interview with The Jonas Brothers, and middle bro Joe used the opportunity to sound off on his very public split from Grammy-nominated country star Taylor Swift.

Joe’s ex has long maintained that the pop crooner dumped her over the phone and started dating actress Camilla Belle a nanosecond later. In fact, Taylor chronicled the lovers’ breakup in her song, “Forever and Always,” which includes the lyrics, “Was I out of line? Did I say something way too honest / That made you run and hide like a scared little boy?”
