The Jonas Brothers tell MTV News that their droves of adoring fans can expect the upcoming music video for the hit single “Love Bug” to be a “period piece love story inspired by The Notebook,” the popular 2004 romance film, which real-life lovers Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

“We have a dream of what it can be,” Kevin Jonas told MTV in an interview Thursday. “It’s about capturing that idea. We want to make sure it’s always right.”

“We wrote it while on the Christmas break of the ‘Hannah Montana’ tour,” baby brother Nick explains of the song. “So we were in the hotel room and sat down that night and wrote it in about 15 or 20 minutes.”

Nick adds that the lyrics to “Love Bug” were influenced by the award-winning film Juno, “one of our favorite movies at the time.”

The “Love Bug” music video is expected to premiere October 15.
