The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2 has unveiled its first trailer as the beginning of the end for fans of the Hunger Games series. It is filled with intensity and sure to have plenty of action when it hits theaters.
The film will conclude the epic Hunger Games trilogy, which has been incredibly popular with fans and helped to launch the wildly successful career of Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen.
It is only the first teaser trailer with plenty more to come before the film hits theaters and as the trailer states in words between emotional scenes, it is “the event the world has been waiting for.”
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2 was popular as a book first and fans of the book are still anxious to see how the conclusion of the series will end up playing out on screen.
The film will pick up where the last film left off, leaving fans right in the middle of the third book, as everyone has been anxiously awaiting more since last November. Meanwhile, Katniss, Gale, and the rest of the good side are trying to save the rest of Panem from the evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland), who is trying to control everyone and do what he wants for his personal gain.
The odds do not seem to be ever in her favor in the final installment of the series, but will Katniss be able to be the hero and save her people?
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2 will soar into theaters on November 20th just in time for the holiday season again. As everyone’s last chance to see Katniss on the big screen, it could have even more success than the previous films.
