A new group of entertainers are getting their very own star on the Walk of Fame. On Thursday, the Hollywood Walk of Fame Committee unveiled the selected 28 recipients from over 200 nominations who will receive their star next year.

Recipients to be honored with a star in 2010 include: actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Russell Crowe, ZZ Top, Mark Wahlberg, director James Cameron, composer Randy Newman, Bill Maher, comedian Adam Sandler, The Funk Brothers, Chaka Khan, and Jimmy Kimmel.

The year 2010 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
