(Sighing) Does the world really need more of The Hills? Maybe not, but that hasn’t stopped MTV from greenlighting another season of tomfoolery from Speidi and The Crew. Despite taking a dive in the ratings after the departure of former series protagonist Lauren Conrad, The Hills has been picked up for a sixth season, Variety reported on Wednesday night.

The second half of season five began in September with aspiring actress Kristin Cavallari replacing Conrad as the show’s lead subject.
