The Ghost of Biggie Smalls Gets Animated

0

How’s this for creepy? The children of late rap legend The Notorious B.I.G. will pay homage to their famous father in a new cartoon called House of Wallace. The show will take place in Biggie Smalls’ Brooklyn studio…with the dearly departed appearing as a ghost.

The project is being helmed by C.J. Wallace, 16, and T’yanna Wallace, 19, and follows the teens as they try to save their dad’s studio from an international music conglomerate. The kids write jingles to get by, while also focusing on their own music projects. B.I.G.’s ghost will serve as guide and mentor from beyond the grave.

C.J. and T’yanna — a student at Pennsylvania State University — will voice their own characters on the serious. Musical artists will appear as guests on the show, according to Ossian Media, the company behind the project. In fact,
music will be central to the show, including original songs by guest stars and music from Biggie’s own collection.

C.J. and T’yanna said in the statement:

“It is such an honor for us to be able to carry on his legacy, not only through his music but also by channeling him through our own creativity. This project, House of Wallace, is a great opportunity for us to bridge the gap between our parents, who loved his music, and the kids and young adults our ages, that were not around to really appreciate it.”

House of Wallace is currently being shopped to various television networks.
