The cast of the ’80s sitcom The Facts of Life will reunite at next month’s TV Land Awards in New York.
Series stars Mindy Cohn (Natalie), Kim Fields (Tootie), Nancy McKeon (Jo), and Lisa Whelchel (Blair), who played classmates at a prestigious Upstate New York boarding school will reunite with their housemother Ms. Garrett, played by Diff’rent Strokes alum Charlotte Rae will reunite for the first time in more than 20 years at the April 10 ceremony, Entertainment Weekly said Tuesday. The gang’ll be on hand to accept the Pop Culture Award for their work on the series, which ran from 1979 to 1988.
Additionally, Gabe Kaplan and Robert Hegyes will join John Travolta, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Ron Palillo and Marcia Strassman when the cast of Welcome Back, Kotter is presented with the 35th Anniversary Award. Also up honors at this year’s TV Land Awards are retiring morning show host Regis Philbin; he’ll accept the coveted Legend Prize; and Family Ties (Fan Favorite Award) and The Cosby Show (Impact Award).
The ceremony, which will be taped at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, airs April 17 @ 8 PM on TV Land.
