The Dog Whisperer became a citizen of the United States of America on Thursday.

National Geographic reality star Cesar Millan, a native of Mexico, passed his citizenship exam last year and was sworn in as an American in Montebello, California Thursday morning.

His wife Ilusion and two sons, Andre and Calvin, joined him for the ceremony

“This is the ultimate culmination of living the American dream,” Cesar said in a press statement. “I have much to thank this country for, and all of the success it has afforded me and my family, and now I am proud to be a citizen.”
