“The Dark Knight” $66.4 Million Single-Day Box Office Record

The Dark Knight has set a new record for Single-Day Box Office Earnings.
The blockbuster set a one-day box office record, taking in an astounding $66.4 million on opening day, Warner Bros. head of distribution Dan Fellman said Saturday.
The Dark Knight landslide surpassed the previous record of $59.8 million set by Spider-Man 3 in 2007.
