The Closer is having its season premier tonight. If you’ve never seen the show its on TNT and its totally worth a good look. Atleast once.

Here’s a brief description:

Atlanta police detective Brenda Johnson moves to Los Angeles, where she heads up a squad that handles sensitive, high-profile homicide cases. Although she clashes with some of her colleagues, her skills as a CIA-trained interrogator prove invaluable in obtaining confessions from suspects.

BRIEF HISTORY:James Duff (”The D.A.”) created the series and executive produces with Greer Shephard and Michael M. Robin (”Nip/Tuck”). Former Los Angeles District Attorney Gil Garcetti is a consulting producer.

Update: This was an awesome show tonight. Not to ruin it for you Tivoers. But is Brenda Jackson not the hottest cop on the planet. Almost gets me over my Catherine Bell hangover.
