“The Beautiful Life” Cancelled
The Beautiful Life: TBL has come to an end thanks to some very ugly ratings.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The CW drama is the first series to be axed from the Fall 2009 schedule, earning a cancellation after just two episodes.
The show was produced by Ashton Kutcher and featured High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu and former O.C. star Mischa Barton as a troubled model. Wednesday’s series finale was watched by a mere 1 million people — that’s less than a third of Ashton’s followers on Twitter!

On Thursday, The CW announced the pickup of two reality TV shows that may replace The Beautiful Life. Fly Girls – about Virgin airline attendants –- and a docusoap following New York City socialite Tinsley Mortimer.

CW SUCKS!!! This so was a really good show that had so much potential. TBL was a NEW story line not some crapy remake like Melrose Place and 90210, and its acting was way better. It should have gotten way more publicity this summer but all we heard about twas stupid Melrose Place which is awful! And now its on TWICE a week!!! Do they want my head to explode? There are way too many shows during the week. A lot of good shows with many followers come on on the day of The Beautiful Life. Fans don't just drop there favorite shows to watch another. I don't think it was a good time slot. It's competitive out there! It seemed like a cute show… Ashton seems to be very creative so I'm sure he'll work on something else for everyone.

Personally I like the show and found it instantly addictive. Broadcasting a mere two episodes doesn't allow for much of a following to develop. the acting was good which made the dumb storyline believable.
p.s Mischa Barton made a HUGE mistake leaving the O.C in the first place, it would've been even better if she stayed, I love it when Actors think they're too good to do something they started and then fall right on they're ass!
