The Trindade Islands UFO  
These photos were produced by Captain Jose Teobaldo Viegas of the Brazilian Air Force, having been captured by a submarine photographer in 1958.  Much doubt has been cast on their authenticity since Viegas had a history of falsifying photos in the past.  However, the photos have stood up to exhaustive examination by experts and are supported by multiple witness testimony.
