The 20 Craziest Fictional Drugs
18. Tomacco
Tomacco is the wonderful result of tomato and tobacco crossbreeding in the Simpsons, thanks to fertilising the plants with plutonium. Horrible tasting but immediately addictive due to the fruit’s tobacco core, a cigarette company immediately tries to buy it up as a way to addict kids on their products. Funnily enough, tomacco is more or less real. Tobacco and tomato are closely enough related that they can be grafted together into a plant, though it’s said to have toxic levels of tobacco in the fruit. You can totally do it at home, if you really want to try. On a side note, there are almost no clips on YouTube from the Simpsons in English, so you’ll have to live with foreign language editions.
