17. Nuke

The Robocop films are not what anyone would consider subtle, not by any stretch of the imagination. The second instalment in the series saw the streets of Detroit flooded by a designer drug called Nuke. A powerfully addictive injected liquid, it comes in a number of colors, but only red is ever seen on screen. We only get to see the wonders of Red Ramrod, but White Noise, Blue Velvet, and Black Thunder are also mentioned. As always, the message is drugs are bad, corporations are bad, cops are good. The greatest part of this movie is that the second RoboCop is harvested from the brain of a Nuke addict, making him even madder than most.
