Terry McMillan, the author behind big screen hits like “Waiting to Exhale” and “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” is screaming that the gay gay that that she married as a twenty-one year old more than a decade ago is ruining her life.

T.M’s hairstylist ex, Jonathan Plummer, has signed a book deal with Simon & Schuster for a fictionalized tell-all account based on his relationship with the author called “Balancing Act.” Terry’s “Groove Back” novel was based on the relationship and turned into an international best seller.

“He is like a fucking Duracell, and I want him out of my fucking life, and he won’t let me out of his life. I can’t live like this. I just do not want to end up dead because no one did anything to stop him,” T.M said in an interview with the San Francisco Gate. She has reportedly contacted the F.B.I accusing Jonathan of extortion.

Jonathan has been threatening to expose homophobic statements made by the award-winning author and T.M admits to writing “Fag Juice Burn Baby Burn” on a bottle of Jamaican hot pepper sauce, and scribbling “Jonathan’s fag boyfriend fag” on a photo of a friend.

J.P accepted a settlement offer of $28,000 plus an additional $27,000 for lawyer’s fees. He wants more:

“All this can go away, you know, if you just, you know, make an offer because I just thought I was treated bad … poorly I guess with the settlement offer and … I just thought, you know, it’s just something for me to see if I can get back on my feet again because you know I’m struggling.”

“Basically, I was saying if you don’t want me to do any more interviews, just make me an offer — and she calls it extortion,” the native-born Jamaican, who Terry insists married her to obtain citizenship, says in his Gate interview.

“Say,” J.P asked the San Francisco Gate, “do you think you could mention where I work — the Diablo Beauty Salon in Danville? I could use the clients.”
