Buffalo Bills receiver Terrell Owens is poised for his close-up after inking a contract with the nation’s leading modeling agency this week.
Wilhemina Models, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, has signed T.O. to its sports division, which also represents boxer Roy Jones Jr., according to The Associated Press.
“Well, I’m always putting my hands in and feeding into something,” the NFL star said after practice Wednesday, noting that Wilhelmina approached him with an offer he couldn’t refuse. “When you’ve got some good looks like myself, you’ve got to take full advantage of it.”
Wilhelmina are overjoyed to announce the new partnership.
“Owens has achieved what most athletes can only dream of: record books highlighting his name, fans sporting his jersey and a nickname of just two letters that is recognized by sports enthusiasts nationwide.”
