“Teen Mom 2” Jenelle Evans Enters Rehab
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, 19, has checked into rehab. The bruising teenage reality star, who if facing criminal charges for her role in a videotaped brawl that went viral earlier this year, is seeking treatment for stress at an unnamed facility in Malibu, Us Weekly has learned.
“She is clean right now and has been that way for several weeks,” a source alleges. “She’s doing this program to help her cope with all the stress in her life: her family situation, her legal issues, her general anxiety.”
Jenelle — mom to toddler son Jace — was recently sentenced to 24 hours of community service and a year of probation after pleading guilty to drug paraphernalia charges. The charges stem from Evans’ arrest in Oct. 2010 for breaking into an abandoned home to smoke marijuana with boyfriend Kieffer Delp. In March, Evans was arrested for brutally attacking a former friend outside a North Carolina home. She was one of several young women charged after police saw footage, obtained by TMZ, of the teen taunting another girl before pummeling her to the ground. She proceeded to repeatedly punch the woman as friends cheered her on. Evans was booked into Brunswick County Jail and charged with assault and “affray for fighting.” She’s free on $500 bond.
