Taylor Swift Jokes About $40 Million Insurance On Legs After Cat Scratches Her

Pop singer Taylor Swift made a joke about the rumors circulating that she’s had to insure her legs for the whopping sum of $40 million. In case you’ve missed it, Swift was rumored to have taken out a super expensive insurance policy on her legs – just in case something happened and she wasn’t able to perform on her concert tour.

Now, Swift has joked on Twitter that her cat Meredith owes her $40 million. She shared the picture on social media with the caption: “Great work Meredith I was just trying to love you and now you owe me 40 million dollars.”

A source claimed that Taylor Swift was pressured by her management team to get her legs insured so that she could be protected in her career should she be unable to perform. A source revealed, “It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Swift wouldn’t be able to give her signature stage performances. Her $200 million career would be in big trouble.”

The spy added, “She thought her legs were possibly worth a million. But $40 million shocked her. She’s even a little embarrassed about it.”

Taylor Swift really has the media and her fans right where she wants them. She knows how to do self-deprecating humor like a boss and still come out on top. Stuff like this makes her come off as down-to-earth and sweet. It’s hard to hate someone who is super rich but doesn’t really take themselves that seriously – and it helps that she can actually take a joke. What do you think?
