Taylor Swift CMA Entertainer Of The Year 2009
Global sensation Taylor Swift made history at the Country Music Awards, becoming the youngest person to win Entertainer of the Year and the first solo female to win it in a decade. Taylor also walked away with the Female Vocalist of the Year Award at the 43rd annual CMAs in Nashville Wednesday night.
“I will never forget this moment,” the 19-year-old — who also was the evening’s top winner taking home four total awards — cried as she accepted the prize.
No woman has won the Entertainer of the Year CMA since Shania Twain snagged the trophy in 1999.
