Taylor Swift Blog ACM Awards “Should Have Said No” Performance

Country music star Taylor Swift is blogging about her “wet” peformance at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night. Taylor, who walked away with a Best New Female Vocalist trophy at last night’s ceremony, wowed the crowd with a rain-soaking presentation of her hit track “Should Have Said No.” (Video Here)
“Tonight was so unbelievable and I’ve never had more fun on stage. … I’ve dreamt about that performance since I was in middle school. I’ve always wanted to perform an angry song and have water rain down from the ceiling and have a little freakout onstage. Always wanted to do that…..Oh, and the water was like 40 degrees. So cold,” the eighteen year old singer wrote of her ACM experience on her Official Myspace Blog.

That performance was probably the hottest thing Country Music has produced in a LONG LONG time. An understatement would be to say Swift is the next big thing in the genre and she’ll give past-their-prime divas Faith Hill, Shania Twain, and all the other lovelies of hick-town romp a run for their money.

Hey,
I ran across your web site and thought it was great. You feature awesome artists as well. I work for Hot Topic Inc. and we just launched a new account – Shockhound (http://www.shockhound.com) which features artists/bands, mp3s, CD’s, music merch, and lets visitors create an account – like a social network. Account holders can post pictures, share their likes/dislikes, comment on albums/music/interviews etc… I would love to start chatting with you on how we can start working together. I constantly have exclusive bands/artist information on shows/concerts/ etc… and I could send that to you so you can post up and be exclusively for you…let me know if you would like to get something started : )
Thanks,
