I LIKE YOU TAYLOR BUT…IM MORE A MJ FAN THAN A TAYLOR SWIFT BUT TO THE PEOPLE WHO GOT UPSET MJ DIDNT GET THE AWARD TAYLOR DID SAY SHE WAS SHOCKED THAT IT WAS HER NOT MJ.MICHAEL JACKSON DID DO SOMETHING THIS YEAR HE MADE THIS IS IT AND ACTUALLY WROTE AND SANG A SONG CALLED THIS IS IT.

the award says ARTIST OF THE YEAR…it is an accumulation of 1 year worth’s of hard work, achievements and album sales and etc etc..so way to go taylor swift… you deserve it.

ms.. i dont agree with you…taylor has been winning awards since she started her career.. and remember that MTV female video of the year..she won it before the kanye incident and obviously all the votes were received before the incident that night. I understand she is the fist country singer to ever received a MTV music award.. congrats taylor

so…if the award says artist of the decade or artist of the century ..then obviously MJ would be the winner…because he was undeniably a LEGEND.

i think MJ should have one because all the people are doing is being sorry for Taylor since Kanye interuppted her. Since then she won ALLL of the awards. MJ has been woking in a music career for over 40 years! Come on people MJ should have one see the difference!

ok taylor deserved 2 win. shes a good singer and an honest person. she doesn’t do drugs like MJ DID? and she isn’t a perv – like MJ. she’s humble and kind and rlly deserved it. also she has been singing for more than 3 years. more like 15!!!! she started singing in her youngin` years.

ok lets put it this way michael jackson has worked his butt of for about wat 4 or 5 decades rrly “thrillier” “smoothi criminal” “beat it” ppl in my school still sing that song. And taylor swift has only worked her off for about two three yrs??? to me it sooo wasnt unfair i was so mad….even my friends didnt think it was right to do that and they hate the man!!!!!!!

I don’t get it -entertainer of the year…… Michael Jackson performances had America and the world captivated and glued to the television sets this past year, out numbered downloads on the internet, music played literally for weeks and you can compare that to a least one song that I have hear Ms. Swift perform. I don’t get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t see how Michael Jackson could have been Artist of the Year considering he didn’t sing any songs this year. Taylor was the true deserving artist of the year!!! Go Taylor
