Taylor Lautner defended the honor of his rumored girlfriend — singer Taylor Swift — by showing off some impressive martial arts moves against controversial rapper Kanye West during his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live last night.

In a spoof for his SNL debut, the Twilight hunk discussed his relationship with the other Taylor and recreated the night last September when Kanye bumrushed the stage and hijacked the microphone from Taylor during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“I’ve also become close with a singer named Taylor Swift. You know, I was actually at the VMAs when she won the award for best video and Kanye West interrupted her speech. What I really wanted to do last night was this.”

“Stand aside honey, I’ll handle this,” Lautner, 17, exclaimed to a mannequin of Swift. Taylor then launched into a series of impressive martial arts moves before throwing a punch and beheading a Kanye mannequin.
