Tara Reid has dropped out of the cast of the latest American Pie sequel, after a deal regarding her return to the sex comedy franchise broke down.

The actress was expected to finalize her comeback as Vicki Lathum from the first two American Pie films on April 10, but sources have told MovieHole.net that negotiations could not be done in time.

Original American Pie star Eugene Levy, best known as “Jim’s Dad,” crooner Wayne Newton, and The Jeffersons’ Sherman Helmsley are slated to appear in the franchise’s latest film, Book of Love.
