Tammy Faye Messner, the Queen of Caked-Up Mascara who helped her pimp-in-the-pulpit husband, Jim Bakker, build a multimillion-dollar evangelism empire and then saw it collapse in disgrace amidst a mid-eighties sex scandal, has died at sixty-five. :(

Tammy had battled colon cancer since 1996, which had most receetly spread to her lungs. She passed away at her North Carolina home on Friday. A family service was held Saturday in a private cemetery, where her ashes were interred.

The evangelist and devout Christian gave her final television interview on Thursday night’s edition of ‘Larry King Live.’

She looked to be in incredible pain, at least now she’s in a more peaceful place. R.I.P
