Just like his character in the Rocky films, actor Sylvester Stallone had gotten himself mixed up in a brawl on the set of his new Rocky spin-off movie, Creed.
TMZ reported that the 68-year-old well-toned star “went ballistic” on Monday as he tried to break up a fight during the filming of the latest installment of the movie franchise in Aston, Pennsylvania. TMZ claims that Tony Bellew, a British boxer, and star in the movie Creed, got into an argument with another actor on set. According to a representative of the studio who spoke to reporters, the altercation never became physical, yet several eyewitnesses have said otherwise.
It is not known what had caused the incident on the set, although Stallone, along with a handful of others, are said to of broken up the fight. Police were called to the set but it is still unclear if any charges will be made.
Creed is the seventh Rocky film to be produced.
Michael B. Jordan plays Adonis Johnson Creed, who goes looking for Rocky in order to persuades him to get back in the game and help him train for a fight.
Towards the end of last year, Bellew was seen warming up for his Hollywood debut by immersing himself in the culture of Rocky by visiting some of the locations that had been used in the original Rocky movie which aired in 1976.
