Swine Flu In Ohio; Public Health Emergency Declared For Swine Flu

A new case of Swine Flu was confirmed today in Lorain County, Ohio, bringing the total number of US cases to 20. There have been eight cases reported New York, seven in California, two in Kansas, two in Texas, and the one case of Swine Flu in Ohio.
Officials are taking this seriously, as more than 80 have died in Mexico, and over 1,300 have been infected. Only one person in the US has been hospitalized so far, the nine year old boy in Lorain County is resting at home.
The Centers for Disease Control has not announced any official warnings, but the World Health Organization has decared Swine Flu to be a Public Health Emergency.
Symptoms of Swine Flu manifest like symptoms of normal flu, with weakness, coughing, fever, and lack of appetite. The disease is not transmitted from eating pork.
