You people really should read the ENTIRE article before posting your stupid comments. She did NOT turn down the invitation by choice. If you read further along in the article, you’ll see that it says the rules of the show are that contestants are not permitted to travel overseas until the show is finished.

Who turns down an invitation to the White House Correspondents dinner with the President?? Susan Boyle. I guess that is part of her charm. She admitted that she was too scared to be in front of the president just yet.
