Susan Boyle “The Early Show” VIDEO (04-16-09)
The Early Show on CBS landed the first American interview with YouTube sensation Susan Boyle.
The 47-year-old volunteer church worker from Blackburn, Scotland surprised shocked viewers and judges alike when she performed a stellar renedition “I Dreamed a Dream,” from the musical Les Miserables during the season premiere of Britain’s Got Talent over the weekend.
As of Thursday morning, a video clip of Susan’s performance had been viewed more than 11 million times on YouTube.
During her appearance on The Early Show, Susan said she got the courage and inspiration to perform from her late mother, who passed away last year.
