Susan Boyle Documentary The TV Guide Channel Dec. 13
A documentary based on the life of singing sensation Susan Boyle will air on U.S. TV next month.

The one-hour documentary, airing on The TV Guide Channel Dec. 13, promises to track Susan’s journey from rural Scotland to the breakout global fame that has eclipsed her since appearing on the UK talent contest Britain’s Got Talent. The shy unknown from Blackburn, West Lothian, stepped on stage to audition for the show last January, electrifying the judges with her rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream,” from the musical Les Miserables.
I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story will also feature performances by Boyle, 48, plus interviews with friends and celebrities, including Simon Cowell, a producer of the special.
