It’s not too late to make a run for it, Suri.

With his film career down in the dumps and wife Katie Holmes lighting up Broadway, Tom Cruise has turned his attention to mapping out the future career path for his young daughter Suri.

Tom is determined to turn the 2-year-old fashionista into the next Mary Lou Retton. The acting vet has convinced himself that Suri has want it takes to become an Olympic gymnast–and he’s not wasting any time providing his little girl with the best shot at someday bringing home the gold.

Tom is in the process of installing a gym in the family’s Manhattan apartment and has already shelled out $70,000 on two mini trampolines, a balanced beam, and padded tumbling mats for Suri to practice on, Star Magazine reports.

“Katie just kind of rolls her eyes. She’s trying to get Tom to just let Suri have fun.”
