The 5 year old daughter of Steven Curtis Chapman, Maria, was accidentally hit by her teenage brother in the family’s driveway on Wednesday. She later died from the injuries.

Stephen Curtis Chapman is famous in Christian music circles and also has heavily advocated for adoption. Maria was one of his adopted children.
