Did you know that Steve Martin wasn’t already a dad? Neither did we!

The musician/actor/comedian/author has become a first-time dad at the age of 67. “We can confirm that Steve Martin and his wife are new parents and recently welcomed a child,” his rep confirmed to Us Weekly.

Steve and wife, Anne Stringfield were married in a surprise ceremony in 2007. Stringfield, a former New Yorker contributer, has maintained a very low, private profile over the last few years.

Steve’s Twitter followers were suspicious after the star tweeted, “Coo coo, cutsy wootsy, footsy pie,” last week.

Congrats to Steve and Anne! Now..you should all go watch Father of the Bride.
