Television just got a bit fuglier.Celebutards Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are battling MTV for a reality series of their own. The stars of MTV’s hit The Hills are pitching a “Newlyweds-type series” to network execs, the New York Post reports. The proposed show would shadow the preppy couple as they hunt for the perfect dress, compile a guest list, and make other plans related to their upcoming nuptials.

“The show would be a mix of ‘The Hills’ meets Newlyweds….. Heidi and Spencer definitely have a deal in the works with MTV.”

The New York Post’s Page Six reports:

Pratt, Montag’s “manager” and fiancé, was overheard at the Kobe Club on Tuesday night pitching the show to MTV programming honcho Tony DiSanto. “Spencer was saying, ‘I want the world to see the real Heidi and Spencer,’ and was emphasizing that the show would be just about them. No Lauren Conrad.”
