Britney Spears was on her way to a Las Vegas hotspot when the Police tried to pull her over for speeding. The pop singer kept going for about a mile in spite of the blaring lights. She finally pulled off the freeway into a gas station where another police cruiser was waiting for her.

When asked why she was speeding she used the same tired excuse, “I was being chased by the paparazzi.” According to news sources, one of the cops was overheard saying “It pays to be a popstar.”
