“Southland” TNT Premiere January 2010
Southland has found new home! The gritty cop drama canned by NBC last month, thanks to the addition of The Jay Leno Show, will beginning airing on TNT in January.

On Monday morning, the cable network announced that it plans to re-air the series’ original seven episodes plus the six new hours that NBC ordered but chose not to air. Southland will air Tuesday nights @ 10PM on TNT.
“This is a perfect opportunity for us to introduce the series to new viewers,” said Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks, in a statement released today.

This program rates with Dragnet, Adam 12 & Police Story which I thought were some of the best law enforcement programs in my time. Other law enforcement programs that have aired are too PC (Politically Correct) & don’t depict the true challenges and situations law enforcement officers face in today’s world.
