“Southland” Moving To TNT?
TNT is considering picking up axed cop series Southland. Just days after NBC abruptly pulled the plug on the gritty cop drama, chatter has intensified that Southland may find new life at TNT, The TV Remote revealed on Monday.

“We continually look at all programming opportunities that fit our portfolio of brands,” TNT said in a statement Tuesday. The cable network has previously aired cop dramas like The Closer and Dark Blue.
Southland, which starred Regina King and The O.C. Ben McKenzie, shot six unaired episodes of its second season before being shut down by NBC last week. The network said the show was too dark for its new 9 p.m. slot. Last season, the show aired at 10 PM, but the weekday slot has since been taken over by The Jay Leno Show.
