Sister Wives stars will not face criminal charges in Utah

Kody Brown and his wives, Mery, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, are free to continue to live their plural lifestyle.

The Brown family, who star own their own reality series, Sister Wives, on TLC, fought back with the state of Utah and now t appears that the state has decided not to pursue any charges against the family. “The criminal case against the Browns is closed and no charges will be filed against them for bigamy unless new evidence is discovered which would comport with the office’s new policy,” Utah Attorney General Shurtleff said today in a statement.

An attorney for the Brown’s said that he was pleased the chargers were dropped against his clients bu that the family didn’t plan to drop the lawsuit, claiming state law remained “blatantly unconstitutional.”
