I came looking for this list because i wanted some kind of reassurance that the rich and famous can serve as inspiration for others, because of their bravery in the face of hatred, evil and ultimately death. Regardless of whether the list contains a few individuals who committed heinous crimes themselves, im sure people can see that these are incredible examples of luck good and bad, and mans’ equal capacity for cruelty and courage. For those great names that were killed because of their greatness, their legends live on and on….

The list was very educational. Alfalfa! Who could shoot Alfalfa? Hope they caught the bastards who killed one of my boyhood heroes. I agree they should have had Bruce and Brandon Lee. Both died by gunshots on the set. Pretty eerie that father and son would die the same way.
