Shia LaBeouf AA Meetings; Shia LaBeouf Alcoholics Anonymous
Shia LaBeouf has begun attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to help him conquer a reported chemical dependency. The Indiana Jones star vowed to overcome his drink problem after he was charged with Trespassing for refusing to leave a Chicago, Illinois, drugstore while he was drunk last year.
“Shia decided to make good use of his time off during the writers strike by dedicating 60 days to getting his two-month sobriety chip. He’s been spending time at A.A. talking with people, drinking coffee and learning the twelve steps,” a source close to the star tells the National Enquirer.

I call BS on this story.
Esp since Shia wasn’t drunk when he was arrested.. just desperate for smokes and being harassed by a security guard.. Even look at the arrest report on TMZ. the cops marked “no suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance”.
I doubt he is going to AA meetings. Unless it is with his Dad to be supportive..like he has in the past.
The kid doesn’t party that much.. one birthday party with Cheetah girls, one night on the town with his co star Billy Bob and out on New Years does not a problem make. Its actual pretty normal for a 21 year old.
If it is true then more more power to him.. he would definitely be familiar with the program due to his Dad..

Unfortunately, as much as I like Shia and don’t want to believe it, I think he does have a problem. He has classic addict behaviors..I’m glad he’s trying to work on it..and more that he’s talking about it with the media.. but I hope he takes it all seriously and not as a charming ploy.
