Breast cancer survivor Sheryl Crow is putting her best foot forward to help other women fight the deadly disease.

The “Soak Up the Sun” star is teaming up with the Pink Lotus Breast Center in Los Angeles to lobby for early detection with the grand opening of the Sheryl Crow Imaging Center, a new state-of-the-art breast imaging center to help women detect and prevent breast cancer. Pink Lotus was founded by Crow’s surgeon, Dr. Kristi Funk, who treated a lump found in the singer’s breast during a routine mammogram in 2006.

In addition to mammograms, the center offers a comprehensive battery of medical services related to breasts, including clinical breast exams, diagnostic biopsies, genetic testing, surgery, radiation, nutrition, and Chinese medicine.
