Sherri Shepherd isn’t letting a pesky little thing like getting bitter divorce battle and fight over a surrogacy agreement keep her unemployed. (Take that, Lamar Sally!)
On Tuesday, the former View panelist announced that she would be making her Broadway debut, alongside actress Keke Palmer, in a revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Shepherd has been cast as The Wicked Stepmother, Madame, in the musical — which is scheduled to open on the Great White Way Sept. 9.
Both Shepherd and Palmer are making history as the first Black women cast in their respective roles.
