“Sex And The City Movie” Ads Banned Jerusalem Petah Tikva

Advertisements for the Sex And The City Movie have been banned in two Israeli cities. Forum Films, the Israeli distributor of film, says advertising posters and billboards won’t be hung in Jerusalem and Petah Tikva because residents in those cities don’t want the word “sex” on display.
Forum Films, who was scheduled to begin posting print promotions for Sex And The City around Israel on Tuesday, was asked to have the word “sex” removed from the film’s posters.

“We told them, the way you don’t remove the word “Coca” from “Coca-Cola” and just leave “Cola,” we can’t do it in this case. It’s ludicrous,” Forum Films spokesman Arye Barack said in a statement on Tuesday.
